Summary
We’re looking for a dedicated database administrator to help us scale our SaaS platform and ensure we’re following the best practices for performant and scalable relational and non-relational data modeling. You should be well-versed in relational and non-relational database systems and know which tools fit the problems best. You must take a holistic view to our entire database environment, drive migrations to better solutions, optimize existing queries, create stored procedures and continually educate the engineering team on best practices and solutions. You must be a firm believer that good data structures make for a better, simpler code so if you do your job well, application engineers can focus on what they do well.

The candidate will need the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where quality controls and regular code reviews are rewarded by the chance to work side-by-side with other extraordinary developers – all while goofing off in the team chat room. We work hard, but make sure to laugh a lot, too.
