Required
• 5yr+ Software Technical Project Management
• Software Development experience
• Agile / Scrum
• Minimum 2 years as a developer of web apps
• Bug Tracking / Configuration Management

Desired
• Jira
• Experience with our stack (PHP, React.js, Node.js, MySQL, GoLang, Docker, Linux, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, AWS)
• PMP and/or CSM certifications

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to switch between leadership and supportive roles depending on the needs of the team/project

Summary
As our Project Manager, you’ll have direct, daily access to the company CTO/co-founder, and be a critical driving force in the creation of new products and services. You’ll shape and lead a team that that prioritizes the usage of cutting-edge technology and techniques to create outstanding products and services. You’ll be overseeing the day-to-day project management while keeping your eye on the long-term strategy and goals of the company. This includes working directly with the developers (internal and external team) influencing priorities, managing timelines, overseeing progress and reporting to the executive team. Our team currently utilizes many components of the Agile method, like Kanban boards, but does not follow the Scrum method (though we are receptive to change with your leadership). Experience with PHP and/or JavaScript is fantastic, but not required or expected. In this role, you may encounter sensitive or confidential materials.
• You will initially be running projects related to a major new product release. It will launch in ~60 months and is ~40% complete.
• The dev team is 11 people (5 local developers, 1 UX, and 5 remote developers)
• Currently using Agile processes such as Kanban boards but are not fully scrum currently. They are open to going fully scrum.
