PHONE SYSTEMS / NETWORK ENGINEER

Phone Systems / Network Engineer position
Full Time Direct Hire
Salary is DOE (target is ~100-110k)
San Diego, CA 92101 (Downtown, free parking)

Required:
• Experience deploying call center technologies (ACD, IVR, Customer Portal)
• Experience in architecting and building large scale network technology solutions
• Experience with building and maintaining TCP/IP networks, LAN/WAN design and administration
• Proficiency with VBscript, Powershell, command scripts and/or other scripting languages
• Proficiency in SQL query language to write reports, troubleshoot issues and create custom inventory, reports or collections
• Strong knowledge of Windows PC troubleshooting and application support, including MS Office, Outlook, Google App Sync, Box Sync
• Experience with Google Apps for Business, including comprehensive knowledge of Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Groups
• Able to travel to Phoenix, AZ occasionally as needed

Desired:
• Experience documenting and deploying service and software based solutions in HIPAA regulated environments
• Extensive experience with Mac OS X system administration and applications: OS configuration, troubleshooting, and knowledge of applications
• Startup / small environment experience

• As is typical in startups, we’re looking for people that love the opportunity to be involved in strategy and management at the top level, but also are very hands on and do what needs to be done to make things happen.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the design and strategy of the call center (currently 100 people) rebuild in addition to deploying and administering the system
• Develop and implement guidelines for the deployment and management of Networks, interactive voice response systems, asset management, and performance monitoring
• Provide technical leadership for the design, and deployment of IT Operations Provide architectural and engineering leadership, define and implement strategies to ensure system scalability, and availability
• Negotiate with strategic business partners to define service offerings, service level agreements, operational integration and handoffs, and cross team processes
• Strategic architecture planning focused on cloud enablement, platform-as-a-service, and convergence on strategic platforms and technologies

Summary:
We need someone to rebuild our call center in Arizona (currently ~100 people). Optimally this position would be based in San Diego with the rest of our tech team and would travel to Arizona as needed.
