Hardware Engineer (Jr to Mid Level)
Direct Hire
Compensation is DOE (target is ~110-120k)

• ~2-7 Years of Electrical Engineering
• Experience in the development and design (schematic and layout) of electronic circuits, multi-assembly system/unit design, processor designs
• Expertise in Altium, OrCAD or other PCB design, analysis and simulation tools
• Experience in PCBA rapid prototyping
• Familiarity with embedded microcontrollers and other embedded processors
• Fluent with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
• Proven ability to design for manufacturing
• Strong debugging skills
• Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
• BSEE or similar
• Able to travel nationally and internationally (~ 1 out of every 6 weeks)
• US Citizen, able to get a government security clearance and pass a drug screen

• Experience with design for power efficiency in battery operated systems
• Knowledge of communication interfaces (I2C, I2S, SPI, MIPI, CAN, RS232, USB, HDMI, Ethernet) and device driver development
• Familiarity with military training systems, events, formats, and protocol a plus

We’re looking for a motivated, talented and versatile Hardware Engineer to be a member of our product development engineering team. You will be working with engineers, subject matter experts, contractors, and field engineers. Area of focus for the broader engineering team include wireless communications and data collection/analysis/presentation, precision differential Global Positioning Systems (dGPS), angular measurement, sensor fusion, mobile ad-hoc networking, distributed simulation, advanced data visualization, tracking in GPS-denied environments, augmented reality, enhanced engagement simulation, and data analytics.

• Drive electrical design, concepts, testing, and integration for hardware systems featuring embedded processors
• Analog and/or digital design including circuit design, modeling, chassis harness design, and cable design
• Write and execute test plans and debug complex systems
• Generate engineering reports and briefing inputs as required
• Provide hardware input to the software team
• Involvement in the full lifecycle of your design: concept, design, production and field use
