PAYMENTS ANALYST

Payments Analyst
Direct Hire
Salary is DOE, target is ~110-125k and 5% bonus
Remote / Work from Home

Required:
• Experience with payments processing related experience for a major financial institution and/or financial software company
• Banking systems experience and have worked on software and/or hardware systems implementation, and/or regulatory requirements pertaining to financial institutions

Nice to have:
• Experience with Global Pay Plus System (GPP) – strongly desired
• SoapUI or other test tools
• Basic coding skills, Java or Groovy desired
• Understand the basic principles of Usability and Design
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in business, computer science, or communications

Summary / Responsibilities:
The Payments Analyst must think critically to understand and solve complex problems based on a thorough understanding of currently deployed bank payment systems. You will also maintain knowledge of available systems and leverage this knowledge in proposing future-state solutions to management. You will be responsible for the configuration, testing, automation and implementation of payment systems. You will work closely with suppliers, business unit leads, and select customers to establish requirements, design solutions, and implement systems/process to meet complex banking needs.
• Test Planning and Coordination for Global Pay Plus system. Ensure application meets business requirements. Create, Automate, execute and Track Test Plans, Cases, and Scripts. Migration Planning and Coordination.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of all types of Fedwire and SWIFT messages including payments
• Design, develop, and implement new business processes to support deposit operations and payment teams
• Correct application failures and/or data inconsistencies in an expedient manner
• Maintain current knowledge of all relevant federal and state laws and regulations, along with the Bank’s policies and procedures
