BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

Salary is DOE, target is ~80-94k and 5% bonus
Remote / Work from Home

Required:
• Business Systems Analysis Experience
• Ability to work with IT and line of business to create and develop business requirements and design specifications
• Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving user experience issues
• Experience with implementing and/or supporting APIs / Web Services (REST, SOAP, HTTPS, etc.)
• Some experience with testing (API Testing and Postman is nice to have)
• Agile Environment
• In-depth knowledge of information systems, process improvement methodologies, and appropriate software applications

Nice to have:
• Data Analysis
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookup)
• SQL Queries
• Experience working in and with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in business, computer science, or communications

Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst will function as a collaborative member of a team that is responsible for finding dynamic technical solutions to best serve the evolving needs of the company’s fintech and cryptocurrency business customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and leveraging new technologies to design, develop, test, and monitor software engineering projects from concept through implementation. This position will manage API integration customer communications, gather feedback, contribute to strategic software development projects, and build scalable ongoing processes. Each team member in this group is encouraged to take ownership of their initiatives leading the effort in all areas of our operations and project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
• Interact with stakeholders and customers to understand unique requirements. Troubleshoot issues brought by developers and base users across a variety of scenarios. Research and write technical responses to the same
• Gather, design, and write requirements for the Portal and API Platforms
• Create and organize documentation so that our API endpoints and user interfaces are amongst the most robust and easiest to consume in the industry
• Use creativity to solve problems and build more scalable processes and solutions
• Translate technical specifications into business-friendly terminology and the ability to effectively communicate to a diverse set of stakeholders
• Play a key role in researching, designing, testing, executing, and monitoring projects; ensuring they meet and exceed established requirements, quality standards, and scope
• Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle for complex projects. Agile or Scrum experience preferred.
• Execute and improve upon Quality Control/Quality Assurance and release cycle standards on bank development initiatives.
• Provide stakeholders training materials and support documentation during project delivery and handoff.
• Evaluate and recommend process improvements while considering current technological assets and the bank’s technology roadmap
• Routinely evaluate and recommend technical solutions to customer and business needs and opportunities that may be addressed through our APIs or Portal.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for a thorough understanding of system functionality and provide insight into implementation
• Communicate to stakeholders and executive management recommended changes to processes
• Define, measure, analyze, improve and control each stage of continuous improvement initiatives, including the API and other bank systems
• Develop training and lead continuous improvement projects to support bank-wide continuous improvement initiative
• Maintain a working knowledge of core banking functions, processes, and operations
• Maintain current knowledge of all federal and state laws and regulations, along with the Bank’s policies and procedures
