Required
5yr+ Network Administration (TCP, LAN, WAN, performance, Load Balancing, Wireless, proxy, etc.)
Cisco Products
Security (Vulnerability scans, log checking, patching, firewalls, etc.)
Linux/Unix Administration
Good communication skills (will be interfacing with internal customers and the server and applications teams)
Team player, self-motivated
Able to work 8am-5pm (position is exempt with limited overtime)

Degree in Information Systems, Software, etc.
Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, managing, and supporting network/security/Linux environment (also may include some Windows administration).
Provide senior level technical support including recommendations on new server configurations, server upgrades, integration of new applications into the existing server environment, etc.
Provide senior level support for network switches, and routers
Provide support for wireless network
Provide support for load balancer and WAN accelerator
Provide support for firewalls and proxy
Provide support for IDS/IPS and Syslog servers
Design, implement and support Linux in a medium to large size enterprise environment
Troubleshoot and supply performance tuning of Linux with Oracle
Perform system upgrades to enhance server capacity or performance
Install hardware upgrades, software upgrades, patches, service packs, etc.
Maintain systems to operate 7x24 with high availability
Proactively monitors and maintains servers to meet established uptime service levels
Troubleshoot and resolve system problems
Complete and close assigned trouble tickets and work orders to meet established service levels
Prepare and maintain system documentation
Identify, evaluate and implement new technologies that complement and expand the functionality of company computing services
