Required Skills / Experience:

  • Experience using HTML(5), CSS(3), and other front-end development technologies
  • Knowledge of web design principles and user-interface design trends
  • Strong eye for design and attention to detail with typography, colors, and layout
  • Basic understandings of custom WordPress theme development
  • Basic understanding of Javascript
  • Basic understanding of PHP (or other backend languages)
  • Knowledge of SEO principles
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Familiarity leveraging front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind
  • Experience testing user flow and functionality across all platforms and devices
  • Experience working with Photoshop and XD

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with VueJS, React, Svelte, Nuxt, Next or any other modern Javascript frameworks
  • Experience utilizing version control software (GIT)
  • Experience with Node.js
  • CSS animation experience
  • Experience working with SVG files
  • Gravity forms experience / extensions & data connection
  • ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) Experience
  • Data connection platforms / applications / APIs

Summary/Responsibilities:

We are looking for a self-motivated, task-oriented, and creative Front-End Developer to join our Design & Development team. You’ll work closely with our Lead Developer and collaborate across Creative and Account teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment; building pixel-perfect, high-performing websites and maintaining existing properties that don’t just look good, but win. Our work moves fast because the issues matter, and we need someone who thrives under pressure and delivers without compromise.

  • Building new websites, microsites and web pages in WordPress
  • Maintaining and updating current sites and pages in WordPress
  • Integrating data from various backend services and databases
  • Building static HTML landing pages from scratch or custom frameworks
  • Build and test HTML marketing emails
  • Collaborating with graphic designers and account team to discuss goals for client websites
  • Test usability across all screens and make appropriate fixes and enhancements
  • Perform quality assurance tests and peer reviews on one’s own work and others work
  • Stay up to date on new industry trends and emerging technologies and apply those to company projects
  • Integrate SEO best practices into all web pages
